I am slowly, but surely creating a warm feeling in our living room by refocusing my attention on the textures of the pieces I am using versus the colors. White, soft greens and Blues make me happy and make a space cozy for me and my family. Here are some inspirational living spaces that I wish I were in today. Natural materials such as Cotton, linen, sheepskin and wood are what Scandinavians have used for years to make a hyggeligt home.

David Designs is a fashion and furniture house based in Sweden. Here were some pieces in their collection that stood out in my mind. The photo styling of their product is incredible.

Fresh ingredients and good conversation with my husband make for the perfect sunday night. After the weekend I felt like we were in need
of some good nutrients.  I made a simple Sea Bass with parsley and Lemon, and some brown rice with yellow raisins, parsley and yellow onions. I am looking forward to using herbs from my garden in a few more weeks, since they have just sprouted.
