While going through some of my daily blog reads, I came across a gorgeous vintage dining room table. After doing a little bit of recon I found that it was by Swedish designer
Axel Einar Hjorth. Here are some absolutely gorgeous designs of his. He was the head designer at NK's furniture department from 1927-1938. During his career and partly due to his influence, Swedish furniture design shifted from luxurious classicim to strict functionalism. After he left NK he began designing under his own name.
